KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring and delivering nursing care and services to the client as per their individualized care plan and procedures including:

• Performing and documenting clients’ monthly health assessments.
• Monitoring and/or administering medications and documenting their effects on residents.
• Changing of client’s suprapubic catheter
• Responding to client’s requests regarding health abnormalities and providing advice on treatment
• Maintaining client records and statistics on the types and frequency of services used by client
• Responding to medical needs of the client as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Will be required to complete company Task 2 Training.
• Must be skilled at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently.
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to provide performance through management feedback.
• Must have the ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relations by displaying tact, courtesy and patience with residents, families, and staff.
• Must be able to speak English fluently and communicate effectively both verbally and in the composition of written materials.
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• University degree or diploma in Nursing or related field.
• First Aid certificate.
• 2 years of experience working as an RN.

SCHEDULE:

• Expected to work around 4 to 6 hours per month of scheduled care (non-emergency or on-call)

WAGE RATE:

• Registered Nurse (with proof of education and license): $65.00 per hour
